Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XI offers unique tools for enhancing photographs. It includes a learning Center that appears on the left side of the picture window, to guide the user step by step for getting best looking images.
Pictures are taken from digital cameras downloadings, scanners, captured from the system screen (full screen, crop, area, etc.), removable drives, or directly from the user hard disk drive.
It includes also a photo organizer so the user is helped in many of the image working tasks. The Organizer displays thumbnails of all the photographs in the user hard disk so it is possible to search photos by date, folder, caption, keyword, make slide shows, etc.
The image is presented in the program canvas and there are many effects to apply to it: artistic, noise add or removal, sharpen, brightness, contrast, etc. as well as auto adjustments. The user can fix red eyes, rotate or straighten pictures, resize, change perspective, remove camera noise, change colors, remove scratchs, smooth skins, remove objects, remove backgrounds for collage creations, work with layers, and much more.
The application offers text tools for including captions in photos, adding shapes (baloons, etc.), borders, frames, and graphics.
Batch operations for processing and renaming pictures. Several pictures arrangements for sending or sharing a single file.
The final picture can be saved in over 80 file formats to fit any other program conditions. Also it can be exported or sent as email attachment. |
